New Camera, New Look

So I didn't actually get a new camera, but I did start playing around with an old one. And so far I'm liking the results.

As for what I'm actually taking pictures of, I recently found a tweed blazer at a Goodwill for $10 dollars. Its beautiful, and it fits perfectly. Truly a great find. I wore it recently with a vintage tie and a thrift store button down. From the waist up, my outfit cost me less than $20 dollars. Check it out:

I don't know who makes the tie, but the shirt is L.L. Bean. To complete the look, I also went vintage (and cheap), and wore a pair of Brooks Brother Khakis that I bought at a second hand store in the South End for just $25. The wingtip shoes I was wearing were from Goodwill as well, and came in at $7.

The finished product:

Despite my general vanity, I don't think I have a future in modeling. My hands and posture are awkward, and I even feel awkward just posting a picture of my self; I'm not one for 'selfies'. Oh well, the clothes are great, and its not a bad look for just fifty bucks, far less than the average dress shirt from J.Crew.

In fact, I bought every shirt and tie on this table for less than the price of a single J.Crew shirt.

Seven Shirts, three ties, $60 dollars. Not too shabby.

You're probably wondering why I set this whole table up like that, its for my application to SOWA this summer, very exciting.

And by the way, how cool is that Osh Kosh B'Gosh duffel?

This very nice lady gave it to me for free at a consignment shop in Manchester Vermont, apparently and unbelievably it had been sitting on the shelves for months. That was a good day.

OK but before I go, I'll give you a glamshot of some of my watches.

Ha, I don't think that hashtag totally works the way it was intended to. Oh well...
