Jack Spade

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I'll never wear a watch thats made by a non-watch company. It just doesn't vibe with me. Steven Alan has a nice line, and so do a few other clothing companies, but I ain't buying.

But if I had to, if I were forced to, I think I would however choose one of these new options from Jack Spade.

Good Will Hunting

Guys,

I went a little overboard at a few Good Will stores today.

I'm actually looking to sell most of these, but I'll definitely have a hard time parting ways with this one.

So.... Does anybody need a sweater?

Impulses

Usually my impulses are good. I know what to do, and when to do it. As in -- buy a watch when you really shouldn't, and definitely don't need another one.

Take this Omega for example.

It was listed at $285 or Best Offer.  I offered $150, lower than I imagined would be successful, but to my delight the canadian seller accepted my bid (plus, with PayPal's Bill Me Later service, I have 6 months to pay it off, interest free!). Canadians, and PayPal, are the best.

I really like it. It needs a new strap, and then it will be really sharp. With a smooth new band and some good pictures, who knows maybe I can flip it for $300. Or you know, just wear it and love it.

Friday Finds

So I just took a quick stroll over to Davis Square to check out a Goodwill I had never been too. It wasn't my favorite, but I was able to come away with a few small victories.

I really like this wool sweater, and at $4 dollars, I like it even more. I can see myself now, wearing it in a remote cabin somewhere, maybe in Vermont or New Hampshire, a fire burning, snow falling, and me, sipping on a hot toddy out of my new reindeer mug!

Come to think of it, I'm actually pretty stoked about these two purchases. Anyways, enjoy the weekend.

Oh wait! How could I forget, I also bought this keychain.
