Socks and Stuff

Needsupply just added some new socks to their site.  Similar to the Stance socks I posted way-back when, these are my favorite of the bunch.

Socks in Black $24

Love it! Ok anyways, check out my well-dressed friend.

"Don't put this on your fu*king blog"

Whoops....  Ok now that I've pissed him off, check out this sweet L.L. Bean pullover I splurged on last night.

Call me cray, but I love it.  And it was only $15 dollars!  Lets hope it fits.  Some of these things can get pretty expensive though, so maybe this is just a good investment as opposed to another waste of money.  Take this pricey piece for example.

Purple swag.  OK I think I'm done here, but in the spirit of vintage shopping, I give you, my role model...

Shirts

If the Yankees play like they did in Game 2, I'll probably post a few more times tonight. If they don't, then... Hooray! that will be fun.

Anyways, I found a great seller on Etsy for vintage shirts. Here are a few of my faves.

Soccer!!! Cool shirt. OK on to the next one.

Maine!!! I like shirts with elk, moose, deer, etc. But lets keep this marathon going. Get ready for a segue tour!! No not the weird scooter, transitionary phrases!

Incredibly, I think this shirt was already purchased:

Would have been the first addition to my novelty maternity line!!! I probably shouldn't have posted that, kind of stupid, oh well bear with me I have some gems coming.

But not yet, first we have...

I feel like Saved by The Bell threw up on that shirt. Gross.  Now on to the three shirts I actually really want.

MJ swag. Always classic. Retro sports is usually an easy sell for me. Take this next one for example.

That one is pretty cool, but this last one is definitely my favorite.

Amazing right? In other news the Yankees are still hitless...

Ahhhhhhhhhhh

Swizzle Sticks!

More than just a kid-friendly expletive, I'm really close to buying those swizzle sticks I found on Etsy last night.

Vintage Swizzle Sticks and Retro Glass $10

Its cheap, festive, and the glass is cool.  Seems like it would be a fitting accessory for my one-of-a-kind sticker bar!

Perfectly tacky, I've had it since college, adding stickers whenever I can.  I don't intend to part ways with it anytime soon either.  Sorry future wife.

Misleading

Happy almost Halloween!

Vintage Masks $15

Ok the rest of this post will have nothing to do with Halloween, I just liked the masks...

Although I enjoyed my recent cyberspace binge on Etsy, its time to get back to some clothing.  Wearing a visible label is always tricky : When is it cool, and what makes it not cool? As there's never a clear answer, I usually like to keep my clothing logo-free.  But for some reason, every once in a while I think its OK.

RVCA for example.

Colors Tee $24

I bet Quicksilver, Billabong, Volcom, and other companies have very similar options, but I'm not wearing them.  But for some reason I really like these.

Ok but enough of that, before I finish, I figured I'd add a completely unrelated blanket.  I mean, who doesn't like a nice throw?

This Pendleton blanket is cheaper than most of their other options, and actually looks a lot more cozy.

Etsy #2

So I'm actually pretty new to Etsy.  I mean, I've visited the site before, but had never really taken the time to get to know her.  I started really going through it yesterday, and haven't really stopped.  Take a look at tonight's finds.

Swizzle sticks, a cheese board, a bocce set, and so much more.  I actually just bought this box.

With Christmas only a few months aways, I usually take advantage of the guilt-free shopping and start my search pretty early on in the season.  This seemed like a beautiful box, and it was only ten dollars.  I'll probably fill it with a few smaller items for my mom and then wrap it, the gift that keeps on giving!

Moving on, I really like this watch.

And last but certainly not least, I think this wall hanging is great.  Unfortunately its quite expensive.

Not the first piece of soccer history that I've fallen for, a while ago I actually bought a poster from the first ever World Cup in Uruguay:

I recently had it framed, and now its definitely one of my most prized possessions.  And being a soccer fan, I'd love to add another item to hang up with it, but this GOAL painting is just a little too much right now.  Hmph....
