Soccer Watch

Its Friday!!! Very exciting.

Anyways, I bought my friend this watch for his birthday a while back.  I think its great.

I bought it on Ebay, and it arrived a few weeks before the big day.  It sat on my desk, staring at me, constantly teasing me.  I wanted it for myself.  I wanted to rip open the box, and feel the smooth rubber against my wrist.  I wanted to blog about my new treasure. I wanted the hipster glory, it was all but mine...

Unfortunately, I had already told his stupid girlfriend about it, so I couldn't give in to temptation.  Probably for the best I guess.  For my friend that is, not me.  :(

That was several months ago, but every time I see that World Cup logo on his wrist, I grow green with envy.  So I recently went snooping around the web to see if I could find a similar item for myself. And well, I actually found a slight variation that I may like even better.

It would still be kind of lame to buy it, but no friendship can truly trump a great watch.  I'll have to think about it.

Enjoy the weekend,

Monday Madness

As my boy Kanye sort of once said:

I've always had a passion for fashion, before I buy it,
I close my eyes and imagine...

And I imagine that I may have to buy this sweatshirt soon.

Vintage ACC Tournament Sweatshirt $26

The picture isn't great, so make sure to click the link for a few more angles.  It's so cool.  The "bros" will love it.

But OK so if I were wearing this, I might pair it with this vintage tissot.

Vintage Tissot $145

And now lets pretend I'm in a cool urban basketball league, and I'm walking to the game, wearing my watch, and my sweatshirt. But where do I put my gym clothes?  Gotta find a bag.

Vintage Purple Nike Gym Bag $75 or Best Offer

I think I'd offer $40.  75 is way too much.  But just to complete the look, I think these shoes would do.

Clae Gregory $100

But no pants, I'm not wearing pants.

Happy Monday,

Shoes

My Dad once told me that I was the only person he knew who had more shoes than my Mother. But unlike her, no peep-toe pumps, no sparkling flats.

Straight dunks.

In high school I was all Nike. My old high school sweetheart (miss you girl <3 ) used to say that I had ten pairs of the same kind of shoe. She was kind of right.  But also, very wrong.

I've moved on since then, branched out shoe-wise, became a man, etc, etc.  But anyways the point is, I like sneakers. So naturally, I kind of want this print.

Sneaker Print $32

I call it, "Shart"  Shoe art.
